The 1994 US Open winner was Ernie Els, a South African professional golfer. He won the tournament on June 19th, 1994 at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania, USA. This was his first major championship win, and he finished with a score of 74-74-71-66, four shots ahead of second-place finishers Loren Roberts and Colin Montgomerie. Els went on to win the US Open again in 1997 and has since won a total of four major championships. He is considered one of the greatest golfers of all time and has been inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
